The meeting was called to order by our President, Joe Holladay.  He stated that Kimberly Spears had set a date for our Annual AAG Juried Show.  The Opening Reception will be on Friday, Sept. 24 at 6:30pm.  The Show will be open until Nov.5.

New members and guest were introduced and welcomed.

Information on the "Online Juried Membership Show" can be found on our Website.  Entry fee is $10.00 for up to  2 pieces.  Joe offered to meet members at the Art Center from 10am until 2pm on Friday, May 14th to take digital photos of paintings or sculptures to be entered.  Carlene Brown's phone number was given in case anyone wanted to contact her.  Reception for the show will be held at the Calhoun Hotel on Friday, June 4.  A sheet was passed for members to bring refreshments. Joe announced that Al Stine will be teaching a Watercolor Workshop at the Belton Arts Center May l5-22 from 10am to 3pm.  Information is on Website.

Myrl Garmet announced that June 14 our guest speaker will be artist Cheryl Combs who will demonstrate pastel techinques.

Myrl then introduced tonight's guest speaker, Caroline Glenn.  Caroline is an artist who does beautiful works with leather, makes marble pattern paper, bookbinding and many other arts.  She has won many awards.  She lives on a farm raising cattle.
